Our latest award winner: “It’s nice to be recognised for hard work”

Temporary workers are a crucial part of the UK’s workforce, playing an essential role in keeping businesses and industries running smoothly.

They offer flexibility to employers who may need additional staff for a short period or to cover busy periods. Temporary workers make a significant contribution to the UK’s economy, and their hard work and dedication should be recognised and celebrated.

This is why, at Prince, we choose a ‘Temporary Worker of the Quarter’ to celebrate and award a prize; a choice of hamper or a donation to their chosen charity.

We are delighted to announce our latest winner, Emma!

Emma has worked in an office environment for over 20 years, including a long stint at a well-known bank. She is currently working as an Accounts Assistant, and we were thrilled to have been able to help her secure this role.

We asked Emma about how we helped her prepare for and secure the role:

“The team listened and took on board everything I asked when looking for a new role. They kept me updated all the way through.”

We asked her top tip for securing a good temp job:

“Be professional, polite, punctual and flexible”

We were thrilled to hear that Emma was happy to win the award, she said:

“I’m really happy. It’s nice to be recognised for hard work”

For her prize, Emma received a hamper full of delicious treats to show our appreciation for her dedication and effort.

Emma’s manager had this to say about her:

“Through her diligent and committed approach to work, Emma has proven herself to be a real asset to our business. Emma has integrated exceptionally with the accounts team and has provided vital assistance in recent efforts to enhance our internal processes. Naturally, we are delighted to have had such a successful placement from Prince.”

What’s next for Emma?

We are excited to share that Emma has been offered a position within the company where she’s currently temping and has accepted it. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

We are proud to be able to recognise and celebrate the hard work of temporary workers like Emma. Congratulations again, Emma, and thank you for your dedication to your work.
