Louise Brockway wanted to update her skills and get into the local employment market so she turned to recruitment agency Prince Personnel for help.
And now, after her first placement with the company, Louise has been named as the agency’s Temp of the Quarter.
Maria Sandford, who runs Prince Personnel, said: “We placed Louise on a temporary assignment at a well-known local manufacturing company, and she really has done a super job and our client is delighted.
“They said she was very flexible and reliable, and always looked at the bigger picture. The company praised Louise as a very efficient candidate who does not do things by halves, and someone who was always ready to take on any new challenge with astonishing energy in order to meet strict deadlines.
“They also said Louise was a valuable employee with great work ethics and they felt she thoroughly deserved our Temp of the Quarter award.
“And after considering all the nominations for the latest quarter, our team agreed completely with their recommendation.”
Louise will now receive a £50 payment to a charity of her choice, as well as a certificate to celebrate her success.
“I made a career change later in life after having my daughter, and completed a degree in accounts and finance, using temporary work to gain practical experience to support my studies,” said Louise.
“And I just can’t believe I’ve been named as the Temp of the Quarter – I have really enjoyed my placement with the Telford manufacturing company, and it’s a really proud moment to take the top award.”
The Temp of the Quarter Award was created to show temps how much they were valued and to encourage employers to nominate candidates they felt stood head and shoulders above the rest.
