We’re passionate about nurturing talent and investing in the professional development of our team. We believe that when our employees thrive, so does our business, ultimately benefiting our clients. That’s why we’re thrilled to share an update on three of our team members who are currently undertaking their CIPD Level 3 qualifications. They’re in great company – Amanda, Divisional Manager of our Operations team, completed her CIPD Level 5 qualification back in 2022.
The CIPD Level 3 Certificate equips professionals with a strong foundation in HR principles and practices – essential for shaping effective people strategies. Covering key topics such as organisational culture, change management, data analysis, and evidence-based decision-making, it provides valuable insights that directly impact recruitment and talent management. At Prince, our team is undertaking this qualification to enhance our expertise and ensure we continue delivering the best possible support to our clients, helping them build stronger, more effective teams.
We’re fortunate to have Telford College right on our doorstep, providing a fantastic local training facility. Our team members chose to attend classroom-based learning, which offers a great opportunity to network with other professionals and share experiences.
So, how are the team getting on? Let’s hear from them:
Steve: “Before starting the CIPD Level 3, I was unsure whether to opt for remote or in-person learning. I’m so glad I chose the classroom experience at Telford College. It’s been brilliant meeting other people passionate about HR, hearing their experiences, and sharing my own thoughts. We’ve just finished an assignment on evidence-based practice and data, which was fascinating, and I’m now eager to dive into the next module.”
Charlotte: “We’ve already covered some interesting topics, including company culture, change management, and the impact of technology on the workplace. It’s great to see how the different elements of the CIPD profession map fit together and apply them to real-life scenarios. Getting back into the routine of homework and assignments has taken some getting used to, but I’m really enjoying the discussions in each session and learning so much about HR.”
Darren: “We’re almost halfway through the qualification, having submitted our first two assignments. We’ve explored organisational structure and evidence-based practice, and the classroom discussions have been really insightful. It’s been great returning to a learning environment, especially at this stage in our careers. Stepping outside our comfort zones and building a network of local HR professionals has been invaluable.”
Why professional development matters at Prince
Maria, Director, shares her thoughts:
“I believe it’s fantastic that, as a small business, we invest so heavily in our team’s development. Many companies might hesitate to make this commitment, but we truly see the value in professional growth. We encourage continuous learning, and it’s wonderful to see the dedication and enthusiasm of the team as they progress. This course finishes in June, and we’re excited to see what they achieve and where this qualification takes them – perhaps Level 5 next!”
At Prince, we believe that investing in our employees is an investment in our future. By supporting their professional growth, we equip them with the latest knowledge and skills.
We’re proud to support our team on their CIPD journey and look forward to sharing further updates on their progress.
