Abbie signed up with Prince Personnel, in Telford, to find a temporary role with a local company – and she’s been such a success that she’s received an award.
Maria Sandford, who runs the recruitment agency, said Abbie’s commitment and dedication had been the key to her receiving the company’s Temp of the Quarter title.
“We’re delighted to have named Abbie as our latest winner, and she’s a fantastic example of the kind of candidate we’re very proud to have on our books.”
“Her skills have been highly praised by the company we placed her with, and Abbie has proved she’s capable to adapting to any situation she finds herself in.”
Abbie initially completed a Business Administration Apprenticeship, and then decided to spend some time working abroad to broaden her skills and experience.
After a summer season working with Eurocamp Holidays in France, she returned to the UK and looked for temporary work for the winter months.
“Abbie had previously completed a temporary assignment for our agency last winter, so when she contacted us again, we were very happy to find her another short term contract that suited her needs,” said Maria.
Prince Personnel placed Abbie with an international distribution company in Telford where she worked in several departments, and the team has received fantastic feedback from the firm’s managers.
A spokesman for the company said: “She so deserves the Temp of the Quarter Award. Abbie has been an excellent temp while working for us; she gets on with everyone, has settled in well, and has a great personality.
“Abbie has helpfully assisted us in our administration, reception, and marketing teams, and is bright, diligent, and enthusiastic. She is a delight to have on the team and will prove to be an asset wherever she goes.”
Prince Personnel’s Temp of the Quarter Award was created by the agency to recognise temporary staff who stand out from the crowd and let them know how much they are valued.
Everyone in the Prince Personnel team has the opportunity to nominate any candidate on the agency’s books who they feel deserves the title.
