Easing the nerves of an uncertain future

An employee who was made redundant after 12 years with the same company was nervous about how she would find a new job. But Georgina Priestley from Telford need not have worried – she signed up with Prince Personnel recruitment agency and has been so successful, that she has won their latest Temp of the…

Maria Sandford, who runs Prince Personnel in Telford, said the team was delighted to name Georgina as their latest winner, and she had adapted very well to the change.

“After being with her previous employer for so long, Georgina was understandably apprehensive about getting back into work, and our team were determined to help however they could.

“In fact, the placement she’s in was the first role she was interviewed for through us, and she secured the job after her first interview which is a great achievement.”

Georgina has been working as a Materials Controller for a manufacturing company, in Hortonwood.

The management team has been equally impressed with her performance in the role saying: “She is great – a real breath of fresh air who has hit the ground running and fitted in very well with the rest of our team.”

Georgina herself said the process of signing up with Prince Personnel had been really easy and very quick.

“Everyone was so professional, offering me good sound advice at a tough time. Being made redundant at my age and never having used an agency to find a job before was daunting, but the team was very encouraging and their advice was invaluable.

“The aftercare I’ve also received has been at just the right level – not too intrusive as I feel I am able to look after myself to a certain extent, but available as and when I needed it.

“Prince Personnel has definitely lived up to the recommendations I had from so many of my friends, and they’re a good agency with good people working for them.”

Prince Personnel’s Temp of the Quarter Award was created by the agency to recognise temporary staff who stand out from the crowd and let them know how much they are valued.

Everyone in the Prince Personnel team has the opportunity to nominate any candidate on assignment who they feel deserves the title.
