Three stand out candidates awarded ‘Temp of the Quarter’

At Prince Personnel, we normally highlight one temporary candidate who has shown an outstanding dedication to their role. This quarter we were so delighted with the feedback and comments from employers, that we’ve decided to recognise three winners.

The winners are Jenny Mayall, Vyette Thomas and Mark Hughes. Read on to find out more about the candidates.

Graduate Jenny Mayall excels in her first role

Jenny Mayall graduated from the University of Birmingham with a MA in Literature and Culture in 2019. The pandemic disrupted Jenny’s job search before she got in touch with us to find a temporary position. Jenny’s position is in data processing.

Steven Wakeley, Prince Personnel’s Consultant specialising in filling Temporary & Temporary-Permanent roles, commented:

“Jenny is a very worthy winner. The feedback has been excellent. Jenny’s attendance and punctuality has been 100%. This is Jenny’s first position since graduating and it’s clear that her work ethic, ability to learn and attitude makes her a deserving candidate”

Our contact at the leading global employer, said:

“Jenny has been a dream to train and she learns very quickly. She is fast, accurate and it feels like she has always belonged to the team”

Jenny Mayall has now gone from temp to perm which is excellent news. Jenny requested a donation to the Dogs Trust as her prize for the Temp of the Quarter recognition.

Vyette Thomas’ positive outlook makes a big impact

Vyette (Vee) Thomas took up a temporary support and advisory position in April 2021.

Vyette came to Prince Personnel looking for the right temporary role for her needs. Vyette initially joined our client on a 4 week contract but the position has since been extended.

Steven Wakeley – who worked with Vyette to secure this position – commented:

“I’ve only ever received positive feedback about Vyette. It’s clear that she’s had an incredible impact during her time working with our client. This is down to her time management and team-working skills, positive attitude and willingness to contribute ideas and support colleagues.”

Our client gave glowing feedback about Vyette and said:

“Vee definitely deserves any rewards available, she is a great ambassador for Prince Personnel, as well as our service… Vee has come in and helped our team to gel together further, helped people to have a new outlook and it generally feels like she has always been here.

Vyette is still temping and has requested a donation to the food bank in Telford as her prize.

We asked Vyette for interview advice for other candidates and what it means to her to be recognised as Temp of the Quarter.Read the interview here.

Mark Hughes improves efficiency at leading food manufacturer

Mark Hughes successfully landed a temporary position in a well-known food manufacturing company in August 2021.

Since joining the team, Mark has shown great commitment to his role. He settled in well and picked up processes quickly.Steven Wakeley from Prince Personnel, commented:

“Mark’s attitude has led to him taking on more responsibilities during his temporary employment. It’s always great to hear of candidates who make a great contribution from the outset. We have recognised Mark as a Temp of the Quarter to mark his commitment to the position.

As part of the nomination, our contact at the leading food manufacturer, commented:

“Mark has an efficiency mindset and has put forward some great ideas, enabling us to streamline some of our tasks and ways of working… Mark has a positive attitude, very personable and has been a great addition to our team”.
