Meet Amy, Consultant Support Executive at Prince Personnel

In the last six months, we’ve had two new team members join us at Prince. If you’re one of our clients or candidates, you may have already spoken to them but now’s your chance to get to know them a little better.

First up, we have Amy.

Amy joined the Accounts and Finance division at the start of August last year. Amy has been a great addition to our team, providing support to the consultants as well as admin support in the office. This is what our Accounts and Finance consultant Ben Lees-Bowyer had to say about Amy:

“Amy’s personable nature meant that she has quickly built a rapport with candidates that she speaks to about new job opportunities.

“Amy has a dual role where she is both Consultant Support and Admin Support for the office so there was a lot to learn. She’s picked things up quicker than we could ever have hoped for and is already an integral part of the team.

We asked Amy a few questions about her experience at Prince so far:

Why did you decide to apply for a role at Prince Personnel?

“I was looking for a new role and I saw a great opportunity online which ticked all my boxes. When applying I didn’t initially realise it was actually working for Prince Personnel, I assumed they were just working on the job, however after speaking with Mike I was really happy to find out it was working directly for them. I knew from friends, they had a great reputation.”

What were your first impressions of the business?

“The whole team are so friendly; from the first phone call with Mike to coming to the office for my first interview, everyone was just so helpful and kind. I came back for my second interview where I met Sally and she made me feel so relaxed, I knew straight away I would love working with her and the rest of the team.”

How have you found your time in the business so far?

“I have been made to feel like part of the team. I have learnt, and continue to learn, lots of new skills and more about the industry which I am really enjoying. After spending time with Sally doing my training and settling in, I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else.

Amy has gone on to become ‘Team Player of the Quarter’

Every quarter at Prince we ask the team to nominate an individual who has gone the extra mile in their role and exhibited the Prince values. The winner gets to choose a prize from a selection of options.

Amy is the latest employee to be recognised and she selected a prize of a spa day for two people at Hoar Cross Hall Hotel and Spa out of our lucky dip goody bag.

Amy’s willingness to help as well as her attitude towards colleagues, clients and candidates was mentioned in several of the nominations. To summarise the feedback received:

“The winner of this quarter’s Team player is aligned with many of the business’s values. Her caring, thoughtful and personable nature has contributed towards Prince being a fun, friendly environment. She always provides excellent customer service with the utmost professionalism while building rapport. This means everyone enjoys a positive experience’

Congratulations Amy, what a great start to your career at Prince.
