This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, highly successful company based in Telford on a temp-to-perm basis. This will be a varied role assisting with the day to day running of the busy Service / Technical department.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Dealing with service requests. Booking engineers visits on CRM and outlook diaries. Liaising with the customer regarding the engineer appointment.
  • Dealing with Technical enquiries received via e-mail or by telephone. Using technical reference files and User/Installation guides to answer queries from engineers, retailers and end users
  • Inputting Spare Part orders received via e-mail/fax onto the system. Looking up part numbers, taking secure electronic payments
  • Dealing with customer complaints via telephone, e-mail, and letter. Updating CRM with all details of complaint and outcome
  • Upload incoming warranty registrations onto the company system, accurately and in a timely manner from several sources. Deal with warranty queries

  • Logical thinking and able to pass on technical information
  • Computer literate with accurate data inputting skills
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Good listening skills
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to 'go the extra mile'
  • Previous experience of scheduling engineers, administering warranty information and / or dealing with technical customer service queries would be advantageous
