The Client:                           

We are working with a prestigious and successful organisation based in Cannock, who are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Professional. They are going through an exciting stage in their organisational development and the Supply Chain Lead will be instrumental in playing a lead role in the success of a long-term ERP Implementation project and be the subject-matter expert for the wider supply chain team as well as supporting in the development of processes and procedures.

The Supply Chain Lead will be getting involved in:

• Contributing their Procurement and Supply Chain knowledge and expertise to advise and guide throughout the business
• Interact and collaborate with other business functions to create and compose effective solutions
• Analyse and shape prospective Supply Chain Processes
• Align and collaborate with leading department heads within the Supply Chain Function to ensure procedures are aligned with functional needs
• Ensure that all ERP project updates/stages are communicated across the wider Supply Chain team efficiently

The person:

• Substantial experience in a senior / lead Procurement or Supply Chain role where you have led strategic change, improvement and direction as well as being hands on in terms of operational transactions and activities
• Experience and knowledge of effective utilisation of ERP/MRP systems (experience of implementing would be ideal)
• Effective communication skills with experience in managing and playing pivotal roles in projects
• MCIPS / CIPS qualified would be advantageous but not essential
