Prince Personnel are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a successful manufacturing organisation, who due to a period of sustained growth are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to join the existing Quality Team and support in all supplier / internal and customer quality issues.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Being an integral part of the Quality Team within the manufacturing plant
  • Supporting 8D activity by driving improvements in processes
  • Support any quarantine activity around non-confirming product
  • Coordinate PPAP and APQP activity
  • Support in testing activities to ensure adherence to standards
  • Conduct quality audits
  • Identify and drive opportunities for corrective action procedures

 

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing / engineering environment
  • Experience in APQP and PPAP activities and documentation
  • Experience in conducting quality audits
  • HNC in an engineering related discipline would be advantageous but not essential
