Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Global client on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role will be to grow and retain revenues of a specified geographical territory, through identifying new contacts & opportunities within new and existing customer companies.

Reporting into the Sales Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Consistently achieve revenue goal expectations
  • Actively participate in team meetings
  • Implement action plans to generate new sales within multiple existing customer companies
  • Impact revenue growth by uncovering additional engineers, buyers and relevant contacts within the existing customer base
  • Identify prospect needs, generate interest, and show value of offerings whilst handling objections to generate interest in partnering with the business
  • Encourage prospects to upload information into the portal to assist our online quoting system and follow up on quotes.
  • Maintain complete and comprehensive information in our database that can impact revenue growth by uncovering additional relevant contacts within the existing customer base.
  • Build and continuously improve upon your knowledge and understanding of the range of services as well as continuous personal and professional development.
  • Identify new business opportunities by profiling prospective companies
  • Handle objections to negotiate and win business
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks without losing sight of objectives
  • Support the Customer Service team, Application Engineers and Quality teams as required to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
  • Maintain complete and comprehensive information in the Company's database
  • Timely submission of requested plans, forecasts and expense reports
  • Achieve outbound calls, connects, pipeline, and close rate expectations
  • Occasional travel to customers/trade shows will be required

 

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position you will have previous experience within an account manager position and you will have strong business-to-business sales skills. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively across all levels of professionals, both verbal and written and you will be able to demonstrate sound business acumen. You must thrive off and be able to work in a fast paced, goal orientated environment.
