Monday-Friday 8:45am-5pm – early finish on a Friday

My client is recruiting for an organised and proactive office assistant to join their busy team on a temporary basis to provide administrative support as they are particularly busy. My client can provide you with a nice working environment and friendly work colleagues. The requirement will be on a week-by-week basis and but could be longer term if proves successful in helping to alleviate some of the current high workload.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Answering the phone
  • Greeting visitors
  • Receiving deliveries
  • General admin tasks
  • Assist with scanning of documents
  • Preparing meeting rooms, drinks etc.
  • Filing and archiving paperwork
  • Keeping communal areas tidy and stocked
  • Opening, directing and sending post

Skills and Experience

  • Polite, friendly telephone manner
  • A willingness to help and "can-do" attitude.
  • Ability to be discrete and trusted to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
