We are supporting our manufacturing client with their requirement for a stores / warehouse operative. You will be working in a small and friendly team on a project. You will be assisting with the stock control, driving the forklifts, and dealing with any visitors on-site. This is a really nice company to work for, they have a great team working environment and the work will be guaranteed for minimum 4 months.

The Stores Operative will be responsible for:

• Picking and packing goods
• Unloading deliveries using the Forklift Counterbalance
• Inputting stock onto the WMS
• Putting stock in the correct storage locations
• Driving the Forklift Reach truck to put away stock
• Assisting with stock takes
• Working as a team on a new project
• Maintaining good housekeeping
• Working to health and safety regulations

Skills and Experience required:

• Must have worked in a warehouse or stores environment previously
• Forklift Counterbalance license is essential
• Computer literate
• Ideally hold a Forklift Reach license – not essential
• Good communicator and team player
• This role would suit a candidate who has previously worked as a Warehouse Operative / Stores Person / Warehouse Coordinator / Goods-in Operative / Despatch Operative / Forklift Driver
