We have a fantastic Perm or temp to perm opportunity for a growing production company in the Telford area. Our client is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Production Operative to join their team. Your role will be to effectively produce and despatch customers orders and assist with the day-to-day production operations. Our client is recruiting due to an internal promotion, they offer personal development and a generous holiday allowance.

The Production Operative will be responsible for:

• Picking raw materials for production
• Basic machine operating
• Producing finished goods via the use of computer programmes
• Packing customers and despatching customers complete orders
• General warehouse duties
• Operating MRP production system

 

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing / production environment
• Sufficient Maths and English capabilities – minimum grade C/ grade 4
• Computer literate
• Good manual handling experience – must be able to lift up to 25kg
• This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a production Operative / Machine Operator / Warehouse Operative
