Description
We are recruiting for a large national professional services company who
are looking to bring in a HR professional to manage a small team of HR
Administrators. You will be working alongside a team of HR Business Partners to
ensure the smooth flow of work that is being filtered to the Administration
team is being processed accurately and efficiently. Whilst the administrators
are fairly self-sufficient, they will often need guidance or advise, and also
some further training to help them evolve and progress in their careers in the
business.
Your duties will include:
- Experience of supporting individuals to meet agreed
objectives and milestones
- Lead, motivate, manage and develop the HR Administration
Team
- Support the development and implantation of best practice
HR initiatives and processes
- Provide advice to managers and the senior management team
on policies and procedures
- Instil accurate data reporting into the HRS (People XD)
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal
requirements
- Create and implement effective onboarding and offboarding
administrative procedures
- Assist in performance management processes across the
Group
- Support the administrative management of disciplinary and
grievance issues
- Support Group Head of HR with due diligence for potential
acquisitions
- Experience of restructuring and TUPE projects (including
redundancies where required)
- Strong understanding of developments in employment law
and employee relations, organisational planning and development
- Provide ongoing administrative management support to HR
Business Partners as required
- Partner with HRIS Specialist for continuous improvement
to system processes
Skills and Experience
- You will be a CIPD Level 5 qualified HR professional with
at least five years' experience of working within a fast-paced environment with
the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- You will have very good knowledge of HR processes
including resourcing, on-boarding, absence monitoring, employee relations,
performance management etc
- You will have up to date knowledge of employment
legislation
- You will have experience of leading a redundancy process
- A working knowledge of TUPE would be advantageous
- You will have experience of managing or supervising
junior HR team members
- Experience of handling varied and complex Employee
Relation cases
- A proven track record of providing proactive, consistent,
and efficient HR services and support
