Description

We are working with a well-established business who are an extremely professional corporate organisation. They are now looking to create a new Events Coordinator role to fall into the Marketing and Sales division of the business. The purpose of this role is to start building a calendar of events throughout the year to help drive close engagement with your audience and clients, and to gain new client leads and grow the business.

Duties will include:

  • Deliver high quality 'on brand' events, for a range of business priorities.
  • Manage everything from concept, planning and execution of all events
  • Work with the Business Development Manager, Client Services Manager and People and Culture Manager to deliver a variety of events, including seminar, webinar, client hospitality, training, and staff engagement events.
  • Supplier research, negotiation and engagement, including internal & external high-profile speakers & related logistics (planning & onsite)
  • Work with the Marketing team to create content for event invitations either in print or digitally to generate bookings.
  • Be the first point of contact for all booking and enquiries regarding events
  • Continuously communicate with stakeholders, account managers to ensure they are kept up to date on event progress.
  • Liaise with BD team and Client Service Manager to ensure promotion of events to clients and targets.
  • Ability to stick to a budget, Budget management, project approval process, invoice handling & reconciliation
  • Support NBE with follow up information on all events with a proactive approach to win more sales and generate additional revenue.
  • Request and monitor all feedback from the event, continuously improving the format and enhancing attendee satisfaction.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for the excellent opportunity we are ideally looking for someone who has at least a couple of years or Events experience. We are happy to consider applicants from either a corporate or hospitality events background. We are keen to find a professional, well organised individual who can help develop high calibre events for the business.
