We are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who has strong experience in manufacturing companies, ideally within tool room and machine shop environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding client who offer good benefits and a progressive career.

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Performing reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of manufacturing machinery
• Working alongside the Electrical Maintenance Engineers on faults and machinery
• Completing improvement project work
• Carrying out planned maintenance to reduce downtime on machinery
• Ensure excellent standards of housekeeping are maintained
• Assist with training other on maintenance related issues
• Installation of new equipment in the plant

Skills and Experience required:

• Minimum level 3 in an Engineering qualification
• Must have previous experience working on the maintenance of machinery
• Ideally have worked on tool room machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery
• Must be a good communicator and team player
• Good time management and organised
• This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer / Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
