Prince are recruiting on behalf of our expanding client who have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer who has experience maintaining industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment. You will be a part of a mechanical and electrical maintenance team, working on rotating morning and afternoon shifts, your responsibilities will be to carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Performing maintenance tasks to ensure continuous productivity
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks to minimise equipment downtime
  • Fault find, diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns
  • Undertake maintenance project work and assist with the modification of the equipment and plant
  • Maintaining Industrial Machinery; presses, CNCs, PLC controlled equipment
  • Working with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ensure excellent standards of housekeeping are maintained
  • Work as part of a maintenance team when required

Skills and Experience required:

  • Must have previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Must have some exposure to PLCs and be able to fault find and repair
  • Ideally have worked with presses and CNCs
  • Self-starter
  • Good communicator
  • This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Elec-bias Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Technician
