Our client is a well-established business who are looking to recruit a new member to their existing small team on a part-time basis. The main purpose of the role will be telemarketing activities such as trying to secure appointments for the Sales Director and fact finding. You will be able to work from home in this role or if preferred you could be based in the office. Our client is keen to attract the right candidate and they are offering some flexibility towards hours of work such as considering school hours or similar. You will be responsible for liaising with existing and potential clients based all over the UK, in order to try and secure meetings for the field-based sales staff.  You will also be responsible for some basic selling and answering of basic client enquiries. The majority of your calls will be outbound, and all calls will be business to business. For the right candidate there is scope for the role to grow by taking on more responsibilities.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Make up to 50 outbound B2B telephone calls a day with the objective of securing appointments for the field sales executive
  • Cleansing and maintaining the internal database which contains over 6000 contacts
  • Searching for new leads and follow up on existing leads
  • Answer incoming calls, dealing with customer enquiries & logging info on CRM system & passing to relevant department
  • Potential to go and meet some of your customers in the future

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience of making outbound telesales / telemarketing calls would be ideal
  • Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Motivated and able to work without supervision
  • IT literate
  • Happy working towards achieving targets
  • Reliable and punctual
