Description

Prince Personnel are working with a successful business based rurally near Wem. They are looking for a Payroll Clerk on a part-time permanent basis. The 3 days that you work are flexible.

You will be responsible for:

  • An ability to run weekly and monthly payroll from start to finish
  • Knowledge of payroll preparation and UK legislation relating to pay
  • Knowledge of PAYE and NIC deduction schemes
  • Understanding of pension entitlements and computations
  • Knowledge and understanding of auto-enrolment
  • Process starters
  • Produce P45's and other payroll forms
  • Produce RTI submissions in time
  • Conduct Year end processes and produce year-end declarations
  • Work out holiday allowances
  • Pay employees using BACS system
  • Understand and administer all statutory payments
  • Produce KPI information

 

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have good IT skills using accounts systems, MS Word and MS Excel. You will have strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills. You will also need to have the ability to work well as part of a team as well as working unsupervised and being able to use your own initiative.
