Prince Personnel are working with a Telford client who are experiencing fantastic growth, and this role is replacing an existing member of staff who has enjoyed a recent internal promotion. They are looking to bring in an experienced Customer Services Administrator to support with a flow of general calls, enquiries and orders.

The Sales Administrator will be responsible for:

  • First point of contact for Customers on day-to-day activities.
  • Sales Orders Processing: receiving, checking, processing, and acknowledging new orders in a timely manner.
  • Responding to order queries (via phone and e-mail).
  • Dealing with order amendments in the best possible manner.
  • Identify any customer issues and coordinate plan of action.
  • Updating and amending customer price files.
  • New products - liaise with Technical Department for new code setup, update product list for SAGE.
  • Maintain customer contact spreadsheet for invoicing.
  • Preparing samples and organising couriers for samples.
  • Liaise with Operations and Sales team for Customer delivery dates.
  • Work with Operations team to ensure any orders not on plan have an agreed plan of action to be followed to avoid an impact of not achieving the required delivery date
  • Answering the phone & welcoming visitors.
  • Holiday and sickness cover for other team members.

Skills and Experience

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience of working in a similar role in a production environment.
  • A strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Good eye for detail.
  • Confident ICT skills
