Description

Prince Personnel are working with a Telford client who are experiencing fantastic growth, despite the current circumstances. This is a brand-new role to the company who are looking to build their operations team to help increase the productivity and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Planner / Supply Chain Planner, to join a growing business with the possibility to develop further and have a prosperous career within this business.

The Operations Planner will be responsible for:

  • Managing and oversee the creation of production plans and schedules as well as forecast future requirements
  • Ensure plans are constructed for capacity and labour requirements
  • Expedite orders to ensure materials availability and products leave on-time and in-full
  • Ensure stock levels of materials and finished product are kept within efficient min/max levels
  • Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics alongside the warehouse team and ensure correct instructions regarding picking schedules are allocated

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a Production Planner / Production Control / Supply Chain Planner / Operations Planner role will be essential
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • A natural problem solver and logical thinker with the ability to analyse production and materials data
  • Proven knowledge and experience of MRP systems
  • Previous experience in a fast-moving environment (FMCG would be ideal but not essential)
