This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business in Shrewsbury that have an exceptional reputation within their sector. This is a new role to the company as they continue to expand and evolve, where they now need an office-based Sales professional to their team. Work predominantly with existing clients, you will be tasked with building relationships with each business, learning their requirements and then strategically discussing new products to grow new business income.

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Building long last relationships with business clients across the UK
  • Review reports and data from internal systems to review client orders / usage
  • Doing regular calls to discuss service standards and usage
  • Discussing new or additional product lines to increase sales revenue
  • Arranging for samples of new products to be sent to client to review
  • Reaching out to new potential clients that you feel are suitable/relevant to your sector, but you will be mainly working from a well-established database
  • Occasional visits to client sites to do new product demonstrations and to promote goods

Skills and Experience required:

To be considered for this wonderful opportunity, we are looking for an experienced sales professional who has experience of dealing with business customers. This might suit someone who enjoys building relationships with clients; and likes having repeat contact to develop and grow the services and product offering as time goes on. You must have a full UK drivers' licence and be comfortable doing 1-2 visits to client each month where the opportunity arises.
