Due to continued growth, our successful Shrewsbury based client has a new vacancy for a Service & Warranty Coordinator to join their team. Operating in a niche market our client has seen growth in recent years and has expanded into other countries as well as here in the UK. Based withing the sales team you will be responsible for coordinating customers and engineers to ensure products are serviced and repaired in satisfactory manner. This role will ideally suit someone who can combine excellent customer service skills with good technical/mechanical understanding of a product (full training on the products provided).

You will be responsible for:

  • Enter new orders on the system ensuring all details are correct and that order acknowledgements are prepared and sent.
  • Check stock availability when processing orders on the system.
  • Raise Cases for Non-Conforming products and ensure the NCR (Non-Conformance Records) process is seen through and project manage until completed.
  • Work with the Sales Manager and Quality Department to streamline the warranty and NCR process.
  • Answering customers' telephone queries.
  • Arranging for delivery of parts or replacement items if a claim requires it.
  • Following full service and warranty process, from raising job cards to invoicing.
  • Liaise with other departments to progress jobs and obtain information.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, reporting non-conforming products as part of the warranty process.
  • Work with the Sales team to manage the engineer's time effectively and efficiently between services, repairs, and installations.
  • Book in system services.
  • Handling customer requests.
  • Maintaining good customer relations.
  • Following to all company procedures.
  • Maintaining client records on all internal systems.
  • Liaise with Shropshire Chamber of Commerce to raise non-EU export documentation.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
