Description

Prince Personnel are working with a well-established Shrewsbury based business who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent full-time basis. You will be part of a small accounts team reporting into the Ledger Supervisor.

You will be responsible for:

  • Process and match supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring correct categorisation and coding within the ledgers
  • Process and analyse employee expenses and credit cards
  • Prepare and process supplier payments and remittances
  • Prepare the weekly payments for the BACs run
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Resolve queries
  • Maintain and update supplier account records
  • Ensure all documents are filed on the system and ensure accurate records are maintained
  • Carry out any ad hoc administrative tasks across either the purchase or sales ledgers as required.

Skills and Experience

Purchase ledger experience is essential for this role as they need the successful candidate to be up and running fast.
