Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced PA for our Telford based client on a part time hours basis. Working for a successful and well-established business, our client has had a new CEO that has joined the business this year, and not after a settling in period, is in need of a PA to support him on a reduced hours basis. This is something he is happy to review and possibly increase the hours depending on what support you are able to provide in the role.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Minute taking – for monthly board, quarterly Council meetings and other key meetings within the business
  • Diary management and travel planning
  • Logging travel expenses
  • New Council member onboarding – ensuring we deliver against our process for onboarding new Council members
  • Council election processes – managing and supporting the Council elections process
  • Research – conducting research from time to time to support the businesses activities
  • Verifying members business revenue information – as an ongoing process ensure members declarations are accurate for volumes and cross reference with other sources such as companies house
  • Support for finance team at peak times
  • Answering phones – as a member of the team answering phone calls and ensuring as an organisation, we are effective in answering calls
  • Compiling info – bringing information together to support management activities
  • Webinars – supporting management of webinar events
  • Events management – planning and managing events for member

Skills and Experience

To be considered for the opportunity you must have previous experience in a PA level role ideally where you have supported at Director level. You will be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail; and be confident to work closely with the Director and make suggestions if you think there are better ways of working. Working in quite a technical environment, this might suit someone who likes working with technically minded people.
