My client are recruiting for an organised and proactive administrator to join their busy team on a temp-to-perm basis. This will be a varied role were you will undertake a wide range of tasks from daily activities, project work, adhoc tasks and through to some more basic tasks in order to keep the office running efficiently, it's the sort of role where no two days are the same. Once permanent my client offer a generous holiday entitlement of 26 days plus UK bank holidays.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • To assist the PA in all matters as required, including but not limited to; typing & sending correspondence, filing, diary organisation, dictation, arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes, preparing and formatting reports/presentations/plans, arranging travel/accommodation, etc.
  • To assist with the general running of the office; answering the telephone, keeping communal areas tidy and stocked, monitoring the email inbox, opening, directing and sending post, assisting with resolving IT issues, stationery orders, ad hoc office duties, etc.
  • Subject to skillset, aspirations and experience, the opportunity exists for the post holder to become involved with other work and projects

Skills and Experience

  • A willingness to help and "can-do" attitude
  • A friendly and confident manner
  • Ability to be discrete and trusted to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and ideally (but not necessarily) Teams and SharePoint
  • High attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills
  • The ability to manage a full workload and prioritise work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
  • Proactively acting in anticipation of the needs of the team
