Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and successful company based in Telford on a temporary basis to work as part of a project team on the migration of 24 websites onto 1 new platform. The team will be lead by the website project manager. The project is anticipated to last for 6 months. You will be working as part of a friendly team in a clean office environment. The working hours also includes an earlier finish on Friday.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Migration of content from numerous CMS systems into the new one umbrella platform - this will include copying processes from the numerous CMS platforms onto Sitecore, the new CMS platform
  • Prepare existing content for migration, ensuring it meets the standards set out in the content style guide including accessibility standard
  • Populate migration forms with all required document information (metadata)
  • Prepare old content for migration ensuring each document is saved as the correct file type and basic metadata is captured on the corresponding migration form

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of HTML, JS/jQuery, CSS, PHP, Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms – Sitecord, Wordpress, Drupal, Contao
  • Experience creating bespoke responsive designs and an understanding of UX and usability
  • Strong data entry and admin skills
  • Ability to carry out repetitive work
  • An eye for design and a can do attitude
  • Understanding of visual and technical elements of making a great website
  • Previous experience as a website developer or similar
