A prestigious well-established multi-function business based in Ludlow is looking for a Company Administrator to join the business on a permanent basis.  Reporting into the Managing Partner for Finance & Administration, this is a varied role responsible for all administration supporting company functions including Health & Safety, HR, ISO9001 accreditation, training and compliance.

The Company Administrator's responsibilities will include:-

Health & Safety

  • Liaising with the external H&S Consultant
  • Co-ordinating and preparing H&S policies for all areas of the business
  • Arranging employee training and keeping training records
  • Fire safety training
  • Health and Safety audits and reports
  • Accident reports
  • Ensuring food hygiene and compliance
  • Ensuring First Aid training and equipment is compliant
  • Ensuring the company is compliant with environment policies and legislation


  • Liaising with the external HR consultant with employee queries
  • First point of contact for line managers with HR queries
  • Dealing with staff disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Issuing offer letters and correspondence for new employees
  • Co-ordinating training courses


  • Liaising with brokers to arrange annual insurance policies and dealing with insurance claims

ISO9001 Accreditation

  • Liaising with external accreditation consultant
  • Carrying out internal ISO 9001 audits to ensure accreditation is passed
  • Administration of the Quality & Environmental Management Systems
  • Ensuring that External Auditors requirements are met
  • Co-ordinating necessary external audits


  • Taking minutes at meetings
  • Co-ordinating stand space for various shows attended by the company
  • Complaints procedure and handling complaints
  • Dealing with membership and subscriptions of professional bodies ensuring compliance

Skills and Experience

  • The successful candidate will be a confident and capable administrator with a proven track record of working in a busy, fast paced environment. Experience of administration in one or more of the responsibilities above is essential.
