Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful Shrewsbury based company. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will have a huge variation of duties and will really suit a HR professional who thrives in a full HR generalist role. Working in a polished and corporate environment, the main focus of this role will be to provide an outsourced HR Advisory / Consultancy service to businesses who typically haven't got their own internal HR departments, and therefore need you advice to manage a range of general HR scenarios.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Giving general HR advice and guidance to external business clients
  • Assisting with guidance on redundancy processes and procedures and business closures
  • Updating / Writing contracts of employment
  • Guidance on Furlough rules and procedures
  • General HR casework ranging from disciplinary, grievance and sickness management
  • Tupe process
  • Some internal HR advice within the group

 

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you must have a number of years' experience of working in a HR Advisory level role or above. You will demonstrate a professional and flexible approach with the ability to build up strong working relationships and communicate at all levels of the business. This role will be initially on a part time basis where they have flexibility on the working hours to suit you.
