This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a world class employer and a business who hold an exceptional reputation within the industry. This is a new role to the business which will allow the successful candidate to oversee a team of both permanent and temporary staff within the warehouse, ensure targets and KPIs are achieved, train and manage team performance, and work to drive change and improvements within this advanced warehouse.

As the Warehouse Supervisor you will be getting involved in:

  • Overseeing a team of both permanent and temporary operatives
  • Allocate daily workload and duties
  • Attend daily hand over meetings
  • Train, develop and coach staff members
  • Conduct appraisals and performance meetings with staff
  • Ensure targets and KPIs are achieved in line with company goals
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture within the team
  • Work to advance processes within the warehouse where possible
  • Complete administration duties

The successful candidate will fulfil the following criteria:

  • Previous experience managing teams within a warehouse environment will be essential
  • Experience using WMS or ERP system
  • Ability to meet and achieve KPIs
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of stock control and stock movement
  • This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Team Leader
