Due to growth, our well-established client is looking to recruit a Junior Designer into their thriving business. This is such an exciting prospect for maybe a recent graduate, or someone who is just looking to get their foot in the door within a modern, forward-thinking and VERY reputable name in their field.
The Trainee Design Engineer will be getting involved in:
- Working with the other designers in producing bespoke designs for some amazing products
- Assisting with developing 3D models for early stages of design process
- Gathering information from customers and suppliers on the phone
- Using Solidworks Software to prepare manufacturing drawings
- Rendering designs
- Assist the wider team in developing new and existing products
We are looking for someone who:
- Has some base level experience within a design role, where you will have had customer contact and gained experience using CAD modelling (ideally Solidworks)
- Someone who is looking for their next step to progress their Design background – whether that be a recent Graduate or someone who has gained some on-the-job experience in product or structural design work
- You will be passionate about excited about product development, be able to contribute to concept development and be driven team member
- Has their own transport and UK Driving Licence (this will be an essential pre-requisite)
