Used to a high-volume telephone calling environment but want to work from home or need part time or flexible hours?

We are supporting a well-established, growing business in Shrewsbury who are looking to recruit professionals to join their marketing team. They are looking to bring in staff to help work through a volume of contacts from their internal database via the telephone to discuss upcoming requirements and plans on construction projects.

This is an important role to help with their continued expansion plans, and therefore they are keen to find the right person who has a self-driven and tenacious mindset. Most of the data you will be working from will know of you as an organisation and will typically have suitable projects on the horizon, the calls are all B2B / organisations so no B2C activity in this job and no high-pressure sales!

The Telesales Executive will be responsible for:

  • Calling business customers to discuss future projects they are planning
  • Cleansing data to ensure you have the right contacts and ensuring you are speaking to the right people
  • Asking the right probing questions to ensure you are gaining the most suitable details from the conversation to either help progress information into a lead, or to assist with future calls to them.
  • Updating the company CRM with any relevant information that has been gained.
  • Keeping the team aware of any key market or competitor knowledge gained throughout your activity.

Skills and Experience:

To be considered for this role, we are keen to find someone who has a proven track record in a business telephone activity, where you have experience of working in a high call volume sales environment. Whilst there will be an expectation to make a good volume of calls each day, they want someone who has an equal balance of quality from the call, ensuring a great experience to the customer as well as gaining good quality information.

The application process:

Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce. We are committed to providing a barrier-free recruitment process, so if you require any reasonable accessibility adjustments within the application process, then please make it known at the earliest opportunity.

We will carefully consider your details and advise you if we’re able to progress with your application within 72 working hours. If you do not hear from us within this time your details won’t be retained. So, if you’re not successful on this occasion, do continue to respond to future roles we advertise. In the meantime, all good wishes and continued success with your search for employment.
