We are working with a specialist supplier of products that are related to the building / construction sector who are looking for a Technical Product Advisor. The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in plastering who is looking for a change within the industry. The Technical Product Advisor will be key in supporting technical enquiries relating to the products, providing technical advice over the phone and by email, leading product training, and conducting product demonstrations.
This role will allow you to use your technical skills and abilities within the industry from a new angle and within a stable, friendly team.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:
- Providing technical support and dealing with product enquiries over the phone or via email
- Assisting various customers with product knowledge, advice, information, and support
- Working with internal and external teams
- Leading product training for internal and external parties
- Conducting product demos onsite and offsite
- Working cross functionally within the business on product details and specifications
Skills and Experience
- Previous plastering experience and knowledge will be ESSENTIAL
- Strong communication skills and customer service skills
- Computer literate
- This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Plasterer or similar
