Prince are working with an established, forward-thinking business located on the Welsh boarder, who are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Coordinator to join their technical team. The Technical Coordinator will be responsible for supporting in managing new product introduction, reviewing product specifications and ensuring all standards for food safety, technical and quality are met.
The Technical Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Reviewing documentation and processes
- Supporting the team with audits (internal and external)
- Support and drive the NPD process
- Coordinate new product trials and production runs
- Ensure that packaging development is aligned to internal and customer standards
- Produce product specifications
- Ensure all necessary information is requested, updated and collated from suppliers
- Assist with the customer complaints and supplier non-conformance processes
- Ensure raw materials are reviewed, quality checked and are to required specifications
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience within a Quality Assurance / Quality Coordinator / Technical Officer / Technical Coordinator or Lab technician type role
- Experience and knowledge of working within a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience of working to BRC standards
