Our client is looking for a Commercial Administrator / Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a new role to the organisation following a period of continued growth where the senior management team need some additional support. With the nature of the business providing a consultancy support service, our client is looking for a senior level commercial administrator to support with a range of reporting and analysing tasks. This is an exciting newly created role within the company where you can genuinely mould the position as you grow into the company and expand what you can offer longer term.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Working with Senior Management team to understand what projects are currently being worked on and what support is needed.
  • In regular liaison with external legal / consultancy companies to check on progress and chase documentation.
  • Checking of documentation that has been received to ensure everything has been included that has been discussed and passed over for authorisation.
  • Reviewing data and costings.
  • Running and manipulating reports for management team and suggesting any improvements of how data could be used more effectively/efficiently.
  • Analysing data from reports and flagging any key information to management team.
  • Reviewing complex spreadsheets that will be linked to multiple other data sources to ensure that all data is present and working correctly.
  • In regular communication with external providers to obtain information or raise any issues or concerns if highlighted.
  • Assisting with additional administrative tasks like booking travel or accommodation for Director when required.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Must have advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data.
  • Comfortable managing own working load and prioritising key tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High attention to detail
  • Confident with numerical skills
  • Proficient with MS Office
