This company seamlessly integrates technology into every aspect of their operations, boasting a strong IT and Tech presence. Leveraging tools such as C# .Net 4.5 Framework / .Net Core / Code-First EF 6 / EF Core / ASP.NET Web API 2 / ASP.Net Core / JSON / LINQ / JWT / Entity Framework Plus and CQRS, the Senior Back-end Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the organisation’s back-end services. These services support both internal and external applications. Additionally, as a senior team member, you will provide expert knowledge and mentor less experienced team members.
Your main duties will include:
- Developing clean, reusable, and dependable code to meet business needs
- Providing mentorship and support to help team members grow and excel
- Championing best practices to deliver solutions that are scalable, efficient, and high-performing
- Troubleshooting and resolving bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical challenges effectively
- Defining and upholding rigorous code quality standards and ensuring thorough testing protocols
- Creating detailed documentation to enhance team knowledge-sharing and project continuity
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience within a similar role such as Back-End Developer / Senior Web Developer / Software Developer
- Strong commercial experience of developing robust Web APIs together with knowledge of TDD, the Service-Repository pattern and Microsoft Azure cloud-based services
- Highly proficient in C# and the .NET 4.5 framework / .Net Core
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles, RESTful services and API design
- Good understanding and experience of Domain Driven Design (DDD)
- Commercial experience of Entity Framework 6 / Entity Framework Core
- Good understanding of dependency injection, mocking frameworks, caching methodologies and the Service-Repository pattern
- Ability to implement automated testing – unit tests, integration tests, smoke test etc
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps CI and CD pipelines
- Experience monitoring and managing Microsoft Azure resources
