Prince Personnel are working in partnership with an innovative design and manufacturing company. They are now looking for a dynamic Sales Estimator to support the Sales Manager and wider team. Although the Sales Estimator will be fully supported by the Sales Manager, Production Team and the wider Management team, they will also be expected at times to work under their own initiative. Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Managing sales enquiries through our internal document control systems.
  • Reporting monthly sales and enquiry figures.
  • Producing material take-offs and BoQ from enquiry drawings and information for quotation.
  • Producing and issuing detailed quotations to clients.
  • Issuing order acknowledgements to clients.
  • Collating and controlling order information to present to the Design & Production Teams.
  • Controlling order variations for ongoing projects.
  • Maintaining contact with clients through the sales and order cycle.
  • Working closely with our Design and Production teams. Client liaison and dealing with customer queries.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally we are looking for a person that has a technical background, who has worked in a similar estimator role
  • Good communication skills and a vibrant and enthusiastic personality
  • The ability to read and understand construction drawings, and BoQs is important
  • A proficient user of Microsoft Office is essential
  • AutoCAD and BIM knowledge would also be an advantage but is not essential
