Our client, a well-established organisation based in rural Shropshire is looking to recruit for a self-motivated, highly organised Sales Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.  The successful candidate will be driven in a consultative way with a strong commercial focus and be confident in their approach to building business relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for a new Sales Account Manager to join the team and help with the development of the existing and new sectors. You will be developing and nurturing client relationships and have scope to develop international sales and distribution in emerging markets.

It is essential that you drive and have your own transport due to the rural location of the business.

  • Responding to leads/enquiries that have been raised from the marketing department
  • Making contact with clients to understand what information might be needed
  • Arranging for samples to be sent to client ahead of projects
  • Keeping in contact with clients who have indicated an approximate timescale of when they are looking to proceed with their projects
  • To follow up on daily sales enquiries
  • Develop client relationships over the phone and visit client
  • Preparing quotations and proposals for clients
  • To respond to incoming enquiries regarding product ranges, styles, materials and prices
  • Send samples to customers, and do follow up calls with view to secure the customer
  • Confident to ask questions and probe customer needs with finesse
  • Account manages existing and new customers
  • Making contact with lapsed customers working off a large existing database
  • Collecting project photographs and testimonials from clients for use in media
  • Connecting and developing client relations through social and digital media

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity we are looking for an experienced Sales or Account Manager who is comfortable dealing new and existing clients and building long lasting relationships. You will be commercially astute, highly organised, and self-motivated. Mainly dealing with executive level / affluent client; you must be articulate and professional, but still have a warm and welcoming personality to create a more personal working relationship.
