We are pleased to be supporting a forward-thinking SME manufacturing business based in the Dudley area who have a great opportunity for an experienced and detail orientated Quality Systems Coordinator to join them and take accountability for ensuring that quality is established at the very forefront of the business and becomes engrained into every job role and process.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has existing understanding and knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems to secure a role that will offer a clear path into a Quality Management role in the near future, or for an existing Quality Manager to join and step into a Quality Manager from day one.

The Quality Systems Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Develop and drive the Quality Management System through the business ensuring that processes, procedures and product quality are compliant
  • Implement relative KPI’s and collate, analyse and report on quality related data
  • Schedule and action the internal audit schedule
  • Work closely with other departments such as manufacturing and warehousing on actions for process improvement and any root cause analysis
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding any quality issues
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively
  • Produce relevant reports for Senior Management

Who are we looking for?

  • Excellent knowledge of and experience working to ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing setting
  • Strong data management and reporting skills
  • An excellent communicator who can influence and engage
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification would be ideal but not essential
  • Previous experience of working in similar roles such as Quality Systems Coordinator / Quality Coordinator / Quality Engineer / Quality Supervisor / Quality Manager
