Prince Personnel are working with one of our clients’ who are a market leading company based in Bridgnorth. They are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be joining a small team reporting into the team leader. You will be responsible for processing a large volume of supplier invoices.
Day to day duties will involve:
- Processing invoices
- Matching supplier invoices to PO’s and coding invoices
- Posting payments
- Resolving supplier queries by telephone and email
- Statement reviews and requisitions
- Checking GRNI bookings
- Verifying invoices and credit notes
- Completing supplier payment runs
- Assisting with month end preparation for the Finance Manager.
Skills and Experience
The company use a bespoke software system so the successful candidate will need to be confident in picking up new systems. They are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will need strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
