Our expanding client based in Welshpool are looking to recruit a permanent Supervisor to join their well-established team. This role will see you overseeing a team of both permanent and temporary staff members to ensure customer orders and projects are managed correctly and completed to deadlines, prior to being dispatched from the warehouse. This role will be heavily focused on team management and project management to ensure a smooth operation within the warehouse and a streamlined fulfilment process and would suit someone with experience in managing and coordinating a team to deliver customer requirements within either a warehousing, retail, production or other customer led environment.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee a team of circa 20 permanent and temporary staff
  • Allocate workload and maintain both weekly and daily targets
  • Manage the weekly planner to ensure projects meet deadlines
  • Support staff training and inductions
  • Work closely with the Operations Director on project status and KPIs
  • Implement improvements within the processes or warehouse where needed
  • Encourage positive culture
  • Conduct quality checks
  • Champion health and safety within the warehouse

Skills and Experience:

  • Must have strong people management skills
  • Experience of managing a team of people ensuring successful customer order fulfilment
  • Strong Excel skills and IT literate
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • This role would suit someone who has previously worked as Fulfilment Team Leader / Fulfilment Supervisor / Warehouse Team Leader / Warehouse Supervisor / Dispatch Team Leader / Dispatch Supervisor / Supervisor / Team Leader or even someone who has managed teams of people within retail environments
