Prince are recruiting on behalf of a leading, global manufacturing business in Wolverhampton who are looking for an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. You will be working alongside a team of engineers to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment onsite. You will be fault finding and diagnosing both mechanical and electrical faults, reacting to breakdowns, conducting preventative maintenance tasks, and ensuring the smooth running of machinery. This company has seen significant growth within recent years and are a specialist within their field.

The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Reacting to machine breakdowns onsite
  • Maintaining plant equipment to ensure machine efficiency
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
  • Conducting preventative maintenance tasks during scheduled/ planned downtime
  • Assisting with the installation of new plant equipment and machinery
  • Supporting with continuous improvement activities
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers on breakdowns and repairs
  • Working with internal departments on engineering projects

Skills and Experience

  • Experience within a Multiskilled Maintenance role
  • Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 17th Edition qualification or above
  • Experience with repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical faults
  • Able to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic drawings
  • This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer / Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
