  • Record training hours on KPI spreadsheets and ensure alignment with the training budget.
  • Add new employees (including temporary staff) to the training database and update records for leavers.
  • Archive leaver files both digitally and in hard copy.
  • Maintain comprehensive training records, including course materials, attendance logs, and evaluations.
  • Support general administrative tasks such as handling post, booking meeting rooms, taking minutes, managing diaries, processing expense claims, and arranging travel and accommodation.
  • Assist in the development of training materials including presentations, handouts, and e-learning modules.
  • Answer internal and external telephone calls in a professional manner.

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C or above (preferred).
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a training or learning and development environment is desirable; however, transferable skills from other sectors will be considered.
  • Familiarity with production machinery and roles is advantageous, or a willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
