We are proud to be assisting a well-established organisation based in Telford in recruiting an experienced IT Support Technician to join their friendly IT team. As the IT Support Technician you will be joining an existing IT department, where you will be providing valuable support to the organisations users.

Package:           

Up to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Up to 24 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

As the IT Support Technician you will be getting involved in:

  • Providing excellent first- and second-line support to all company users
  • Assist in the installation and configurations of all IT equipment
  • Manage and support all company hardware and software
  • Effectively trouble shooting for all hardware and software issues and rectify in an efficient manner
  • Supporting wired and non-wired networks
  • Administration of the Active Directory
  • Ensure all licencing is kept up to date
  • Maintaining the IT asset register

Experience required

  • An adequate amount of previous experience in an IT Support / IT Helpdesk role will be essential
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills
