Prince are recruiting on behalf of their prestigious manufacturing client based in Telford who are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced IMEX Lead. To be considered for this role you will need strong experience dealing with IMEX, compliance, and working to implement and introduce IMEX processes. This role will oversee the IMEX function within the business to support the transportation process, from shipping of goods, receiving goods, recording transactions, and ensure compliance.
The IMEX Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Managing the import and export of goods and the transportation process within the business
- Ensuring all import and export documentation complies with internal and external regulations
- Building and maintaining external relationships
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure business and customer targets are met
- Overseeing internal and external IMEX audits
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure accurate delivery of goods
- Supporting with continuous improvement projects and culture
- Training staff on legal compliance
- Preparing job instructions and SOPs
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous IMEX experience will be ESSENTIAL
- Experience managing and implementing IMEX processes will be ESSENTIAL
- Experience with various IMEX documentation
- Self-starter and CI mindset
- This role would suit someone who has previous worked as IMEX Coordinator / IMEX Controller / IMEX Lead / IMEX Manager
