Prince are working with a well-established FMCG business located in Telford. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Financial Accountant will undertake all aspects of financial management for the business.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the transactional team and overseeing/reviewing sales ledger, purchase ledger, stock, cash, bank and GL entries
- Take responsibility for ensuring that the financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively
- Responsibility for maintaining statutory records
- Company taxation management
- Fixed asset & capital allowances
- Treasury management – liaison with banks, forecasting & MI data submission
- Budgeting & forecasting (cashflow, balance sheet)
- Liaise with auditors and preparing audited accounts
- Project management of process changes and implementations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will need experience of operational financial and statutory accounts, financial controls and risk management and project management. Our client will consider fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent or candidates qualified by experience. You will need advanced MS Excel skills.
