We are currently working with a prestigious and reputable organisation based in Telford who are looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer to their expanding team. As the Electrical Design Engineer you will be working on a variety of projects, from cradle to grave. You will be responsible for working on both bespoke designs and existing products to modify and make improvements where possible. You will be overseeing multiple projects, ensuring designs meet customer specifications and requirements.

As the Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Working on both bespoke and existing product ranges
  • Managing multiple projects from cradle to grave
  • Ensuring designs meet customer and company specifications and requirements
  • Modifying and improving existing designs
  • Taking ownership of projects allocated to you
  • Working closely with internal departments on design requirements and project status
  • Liaising with customers on design requirements when needed

Skills and Experience required:

  • Must have experience with 3D design software packages
  • Relevant design qualification would be advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience within an electrical design role
  • Experience with sheet metal and plastic part design would be beneficial
  • This role would suit someone who has previously work as a Design Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer
