A well-established global manufacturer located in Telford is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their Engineering department.
As their new Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be leading continuous improvement activities and strategies across the site with the aim to analyse current processes and identify areas of improvement. You will be working to reduce costs, reduce waste, improve efficiency and productivity, and champion a continuous improvement culture within the business. We are looking for a strong problem solver who is data and result driven who has a passion for driving change.

As the Continuous Improvement Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Leading continuous improvement projects and strategy across the site
- Looking at current processes and working to improve areas such as
- Working to identify areas of concern and conduct route cause analysis and implement improvements
- Utilising various tools such as Lean, six sigma, 5s and Kaizen methodologies
- Liaising with multiple internal departments to identify areas of improvement and continuous improvement project status
- Providing internal training programs and presentations surrounding CI and Lean principals
The skills and experience you need…
- Relevant Degree or qualifications
- Experience within similar role such as CI, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing
- Familiar with various tools such as Lean, 5S, or Kaizen
- Six Sigma qualification – not essential
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Confident communicator
- Computer Literate
- This role will suit someone who has previously worked as a Continuous Improvement Engineer / CI Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer
