Our client is a bespoke manufacturing business based in Telford who are looking to recruit an experienced and knowledgeable CAD CAM Design Engineer to their existing design team. You will be involved with producing bespoke designs and drawings for manufacture to meet customer specifications, programming machinery, and working to meet deadlines and set timeframes. This role will provide you with the opportunity to learn new skills and bespoke software systems within a friendly and supportive environment.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:
- Produce design drawings for manufacture
- Ensure client specifications and briefs are met
- Programme onsite CNC machinery
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within required timeframes
- Communicate with all departments across the business on design related tasks
Skills and Experience
- Experience with AutoCAD and Solidworks will be essential
- Willing and eager to learn
- Adaptable and able to work in fast paced environments
- Must have a keen eye for detail
- This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a CAD Technician / CAD Engineer / CAD Designer / Product Designer / CAD CAM Engineer / CAD CAM Designer / CAD CAM Design Engineer
